Committee for Campus Inclusion

Catalyst Grants

The Committee for Campus Inclusion (CCI) fosters an inclusive and supportive community that welcomes, respects, and honors the rich diversity of our university and those we serve.

Catalyst Grants are intended to provide financial support for projects, programs, and events that align with the committee's mission and promote an inclusive environment. After you have reviewed the Application cycles and criteria, Evaluation criteria, and Awardee expectations, scroll to the bottom of this page to Apply (download application) and Submit your application.

Catalyst Grants typically range between $250 to $500 and are awarded to projects, programs, and events that align with one or more of the following impact areas:

  • Education and Outreach: To enhance discussion and dialogue about Inclusive Excellence principles and actions.
  • Scholarship and Practice: To support research/application with an Inclusive Excellence focus. Emphasis will be placed on undergraduate or graduate student applicants.
  • Strategies and Solutions: To implement evidence-based training, workshops, and classroom activities that are directly aimed at reducing/removing inequity and barriers to student success.

Application cycles

We invite all ASU students, staff, and faculty to apply. Grant applications are evaluated on a rolling deadline. Review the dates outlined below to determine the expected timeline for each round of reviews.

Funding opportunities are limited by the availability of funds. If your proposal exceeds the initial limits of our grants, CCI Catalyst Grants may contact you if there are any remaining funds after the general distribution of funds. In the spirit of inclusiveness, we encourage applicants to apply.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, there are three rounds. Important dates for each round are outlined below.
