Committee for Campus Inclusion

Subcommittees

Our subcommittees are designed to advance the deliverable commitments of our committee.

They are volunteer faculty, staff and students, and campus affiliates who meet once a month and as needed to meet the goals and objectives in alignment with the Arizona State University Charter. 


Executive Subcommittee

The Executive Subcommittee is committed to year round participation and meets at least once a month. The standard Executive subcommittee meeting is 90 minutes. Members are expected to co-chair one of the six sub-committees and serve as a focal point for advancing the work of their respective subcommittees.

Catalyst Awards Subcommittee

The Catalyst Awards Subcommittee promotes, plans and reviews the process of nomination and selection for the Catalyst Awards, driving the coordination of the annual event

Engagement and Experience Subcommittee

The Engagement and Experience Subcommittee is dedicated to curating events that foster a culture of inclusion across the university.

Catalyst Grants Subcommittee 

The Mini-grants Subcommittee facilitates the process of nomination, selection, and support of the mini-grants requested from the Committee by student, faculty, staff and other affiliates. This includes oversight of funding requests, awardee impact reporting and assessment.

Podcast Subcommittee

The Podcast Subcommittee advances the education of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the university community by leveraging this new modality for outreach. 

Special Projects Subcommittee

The Special Projects Subcommittee provides guidance and leadership on advancing initiatives and resources that support the commitments of the committee. Examples of this include the Holiday and Cultural Observances LibGuide, Canvas pronouns, etc.
