Frequently Asked Questions

Managing your Communications request

ASU faculty and staff supporting an OIE program, initiative, event or community may submit a request. If you are unsure whether your project is eligible for communications support, contact OIE before submitting.

Submit your request as early as possible. Allow at least 10 business days for routine requests. Larger projects—such as communications campaigns, new webpages, major events, photography or video—may require four to six weeks or more. Completion times depend on project scope, existing priorities and staff availability.

Yes. Use the link in your confirmation or project update email to open your Program Summary. There, you can provide additional information, add links or files, clarify project details and respond to questions.

Drafts, files and project updates will be available in your Program Summary. Use the link provided in your project emails to review materials and follow your request’s progress.

Open your Program Summary and provide clear, consolidated feedback. Identify the requested changes and include any corrected wording, replacement files or additional information needed to complete the revisions.

The OIE team will contact you by email or through your Program Summary. Your request may be paused until the requested information, files or approvals are received, so responding promptly will help keep the project moving.

To keep your messages and files connected to the correct request:

  • Submit and respond using your ASU email address.
  • Reply to the existing email thread rather than starting a new message.
  • Do not change the email subject line or remove the request number.
  • Keep project feedback and revisions together in the same thread or Program Summary.
  • Combine feedback into one response whenever possible.
  • Do not forward your Program Summary link. Contact OIE if another person needs access or if the primary contact changes.

Use your Program Summary or reply to the most recent project email to request cancellation. Please notify OIE as soon as possible. The assigned team member will confirm the cancellation and close the request.

Updating community contacts

Current community leaders, advisors and designated representatives may submit updates for their Faculty and Staff Association or OIE-supported community. Please use your ASU email address when completing the form.

Use the form to add or remove leaders, update leadership roles, change contact information, identify a new primary contact or report other leadership and membership changes.

Provide the community’s name, the person’s full name, ASU email address, current or new role and the date the change takes effect. Include all requested changes in one submission whenever possible.

Connecting with ASU communities

Any member of the ASU community looking for connection, shared interests, professional relationships, programs or support may submit a request. Use your ASU email address so OIE can respond and connect you with the appropriate resources.

OIE can help identify Faculty and Staff Associations, ASU communities, programs, events, resources and points of contact that align with your interests, experiences or goals.

No. Describe what you are looking for, what interests you or the type of connection you would like to make. OIE will use that information to help identify relevant options.

No. Submitting the form only requests help making a connection. If you give OIE permission to share your information, we may connect you directly with an appropriate community contact. If you select “No”, OIE can still contact you with relevant communities, resources and contact information, but your personal information will not be shared.
